T-Pain's Signature Auto-tune

T-Pain created his own unique, signature sound using auto-tune and his latest album Thr33 Ringz debuts at #4 on Billboard album sales chart. Pain recently told DJ Skee in an interview that other artists like ron Browz used the auto-tune effect very poorly. What's more T-Pain thinks that all biters of his concept should be paying royalties for its use.

He may have a point too because Diddy did a collaboration with Pain and paid him for using the auto-tune. Pain said that Diddy signed the papers and gave him a point on his album for using auto-tune - Diddy revealed it on "total finale live". Pain feels that if he can do this with Diddy then everybody else better be ready to do the same.

Pain also worked with his friend Kanye West's 808's and Heartbreak and wrote and produced on Diddy's album and was somewhat surprised that he got extra royalties for something that he just brought back to the forefront. It is good to see all these rappers working together in harmony, recognizing each other's work as well as including some Euro style, electronica mixed with hip hop and rap.

New Rap Songs: Hip Hop Songs & Rap Music Videos

If you like me are always looking for new rap songs and new hip hop songs for your iPod, you will be pleased to learn about rapper Jair Dynast. He has recently released a new single, Simple Plan that has a lively rap music video to go along with it.

I have introduced this single to a few of my friends and they liked it enough that they have been telling their friends about it. This rapper is true to real hip hop so if you like something more than gangsta-rap and you like rap that is full of metaphors and similes this is your man.

Furthermore, if you have someone on your Christmas gifts list this year that you know would appreciate a rapper like him, why not get out your iTunes card and buy this download for their iPod.

Recently, I found a Power Point Presentation that was done to promote and expose this music to fans and I think that it's only appropriate that I share it with you. I would also encourage you to share it with your friends. You can also join the party at the rappers social network to get head-banging new rap songs every month.

Rappers Get Out the Vote

November 4th is our elections date and if you can vote early it is definitely recommended. The more I listened to Sarah Palin, heard the robocalls and the constant changing of who Barack Obama really is according to the Republicans forced me to be one of those standing in line to cast my vote early.

Their fearmongering sent me running in the other direction. My view is if he's so dangerous to people like McCain and Joe the Plumbers, then Obama has to be just what America needs at this point in its history. As a fan of rap music especially socially conscious hip hop or what is sometimes referred to as "positive rap", I am well aware of what's done to advance a negative stereotype. When all the smoke clears, we're left with our own pathetic stories of foreclosures, no food, no health care, no education and no jobs.

After watching a CNN report of a poor 81-year old man who had a faulty voter machine try to steal his vote for Obama, I went to the polling station armed with my pencil. Why you ask? In this CNN report the elections officials claimed that the machines sometimes will switch a vote for Obama to McCain and this old man had to press the touch screen again. This time with the elections official help it registered his choice correctly.

As I paid special attention this report, I noticed that the official that said the voter machines were calibrated was using a pencil in the demonstration and not his index finger. This was my Barack Obama moment - I have to use a pencil or a ball point pen - not my index finger and then the machines cannot register my Obama vote for McCain.

Like rappers, rap music fans are from the street, we have street cred and we know how to watch our backs so word-up to all my rap and hip hop fans - go down to that polling place armed with your pencil and use it as your pointer to pick the candidate you want to hold the President's office.

Hip Hop Culture - Health Care Crisis in America

The current economic crisis must be more frightening to the 47 million Americans that have no health insurance than anyone amongst us. For sometime now, employers have been increasingly moving health care costs back to employees and workers are struggling to pay higher premiums, deductibles and in some cases have no coverage at all.

The most neglectful part of these statistics lie in the fact that 8.7 million children are amongst the silent sufferers. To work hard is part of the American dream but working families are faced with double-digit increases in health insurance, forced to pay out-of-pocket for doctors visits, fast-rising prescriptions costs and many are being forced to decline coverage for their families and delay getting much needed medical care.

If you are single parent, teenage mother or low to moderate-income family, you should know that Congress passed the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) in 1997 to work with Medicaid to expand health coverage to the 8.7 million children in America that lack health insurance.

Don't be a victim, arm yourself with knowledge by visiting this outreach organization. This is an example of the importance of "community organizers" like Obama in the hood and under-privileged communities.

If you are a young "community organizer", you can use your interest in rap music to show your peeps how the vanguard rap music community can be used to motivate young people to be organizers by sharing rap music and vital information to hip hop groups.

Hip Hop Nightclubs and Secondhand Smoke

Lawndale City Council voted against an ordinance that would have allowed a local restaurant owner to open a Middle Eastern style restaurant on 167th Street with a hookah lounge on Hawthorne Boulevard.

Hookahs are water pipes with long stems that allow users to smoke flavored tobacco as are commonly in use in Middle Eastern countries often at cafes. Hip hop culture and nightclubs have had to deal with the health issue of smoking as some cities across North America move to ban smoking indoors.

One Councilman, Larry Rudolph said he voted against the cigarette lounge and used his health issues with cigarette smoking as his main reasons. He said that at 39-years old he had his first triple bypass surgery, followed by another procedure 3-years later and 12-years later, he had congestive heart failure that required a heart transplant.

Nightclubs, cafes and establishments have come under scrutiny because there's a direct link between cigarette smoking and secondhand smoke in the growing numbers of citizens that develop lung cancer. There's evidence that secondhand smoke is very hazardous to the health of young people that work these restaurant jobs while working to help pay college tuition.

It is bad enough that each year, several young athletes die from sudden death that relate to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy without knowing the condition exist. Frequent vanguard rap hip hop music community social network to learn about health-related issues and download rap music monthly for your iPod.
